The 6 degree flared drop brings the brake hoods in and means they sit 16 millimetres further in than the outside of the handlebar. 3T have designed the handlebar with an egg-shaped top section, this improves ergonomics and makes the transition from the hoods to the drops a seamless one. If the sleek shape was not fast enough to add that extra wind cheating element the bar can be fitted with a range of aero clip-on bars, putting you in an aerodynamic position for time trials and triathlons.
