Argon 18 is a Canadian cycle manufacturer founded in 1989 by professional cyclist Gervais Rioux in Montreal, Quebec. The brand name comes from the Argon element, which is number 18 in the periodic table.
Argon 18 is a sponsor of professional cycling teams and professional triathletes. Since June 2017, Rioux has become the official supplier of Canadian national road, track and para-cycling teams at the 2020 Olympics. In 2018 the World Tour Astana Bicycle Team announced a three-year collaboration with Argon 18.
